Library materials delivery for Distance Education students

The Rohrbach Library strives to provide the same level of service and the same library sources to all students whether on campus or off.

Articles:  Articles and small excerpts from books will be delivered to students enrolled in distance learning courses as a file attached to your Kutztown University student email account.

Books from the Rohrbach Library:  Books from the Rohrbach Library are mailed to Distance Learning students free of charge.  You, as the student, are responsible for returning the book on or before the date due.  You can return it to the library in person, or it can be sent via US Mail or a private delivery. You are responsible for the material until it arrives at the library. Under present fiscal restrictions, the library cannot reimburse you for return postage. The books should be addressed to:

Information Commons
RL100, Rohrbach Library of KU
15200 Kutztown Road, Building #5
Kutztown, PA   19530

Book borrowed for you through Interlibrary Loan:  When requesting books via ILL, PLEASE post in the note field that you are a Distance Learning student and need to have the book mailed to you. Books borrowed from another library through ILL are sent first to the Kutztown University Library, then mailed to your home.  It will take you longer to get the book, and you will not be able to keep it  as long. You are responsible for the book until it is returned to the KU Library. You can return it to the Library in person, or send it via US Mail or a private delivery service like UPS.  The date due for the book is determined by the library that owns it, not the KU library. It is very important to return an ILL book on time. Under present fiscal restrictions, the library cannot reimburse you for return postage. The books should be addressed to:
