The staff on every floor of Rohrbach Library welcomes your questions.

A reference librarian is in the Information Commons area near the entrance at all hours (except the final two, on nights when Rohrbach is open till midnight).  You can call the reference librarian at 610-683-4165 and you can email us your questions as well.

Live 24/7 research assistance is available online through IM.  Though the librarians who serve you there will not always be from Kutztown University, they are able to refer your questions back to our staff if you don't get a full answer.

You can also text us short questions during most hours of the day.  Start your text with KRL, and send it to 309-222-7740.

Guides to using our major databases are also available; if you are curious about how to save or email your results from EBSCO, for example, you can quickly find that here.

Finding Books about Journalism & Mass Media

"Journalism" and "Mass Media" are the subject headings used in the online catalog. You can narrow the search by adding a country name.  Search the library's online catalog.

You can also browse the shelves in the library to see what's available. The call number range is PN 4699 through PN 5650 -- but books can be found in many other parts of the collection.
