Coronavirus emergency - resources for students & faculty: Checking out Library materials

This is a guide to help students and faculty navigate the changes created by the coronavirus emergency during the last half of the Spring 2020 semester.

So you need something from inside the library.....

If you need books, DVDs, or other materials that are in the Rohrbach Library:

This procedure applies only to materials that can be borrowed from the library under non-quarantine circumstances, such as books in the Main Collection, Library Science (Children's books) Collection, DVDs, Periodicals, etc.

This procedure does NOT APPLY to materials that cannot be borrowed from the library under non-quarantine circumstances, such as books in the Reference and Reserve Collections.  This procedure also does not apply to the equipment from the Information Desk and SteamWorks.

  1. If you have found something in the library collection that you would like to borrow, request the title through the Interlibrary Loan system at this link:  https://library.kutztown.edu/interlibrary.
  2. Fill out the form and send it.
  3. Under quarantine restrictions, interlibrary loan items are processed on Thursdays only.  The items are mailed on Fridays only.
  4. When you receive your materials, look for the pre-paid return label included for you to return the items to the library, free of charge.  All materials will be due back on June 2, 2020.

If you have any questions or concerns, please send an email to kupill@kutztown.edu or  colburn@kutztown.edu.
