Finding Registry Numbers

Registry numbers can be found in a variety of ways.  You may find them in a standard reference source or it may be cited in an articles. You can also use STN to identify a registry number.

Registry numbers are searched in a seperate file on STN.  Log on to STN and choose the registry file as follows:

Search and display results as explained in the Searching section.  The results that are displayed will be not be for articles, but rather for informational records on individual compounds.
