Microfilm & Microfiche

Microforms (both film and fiche) are located on the second floor of the library.

The Library owns the Library of American Civilization (LAC) collection in microfiche format. This significant collection includes a great deal of primary source material. Search the collection in the library catalog; the call number will indicate LAC and the microfiche number. Please ask for assistance in the Periodicals Workroom RL203 when using this collection. A search in the library catalog for “Jefferson” and “LAC” will result in a list of all materials in the LAC collection that mention Jefferson. A very small percentage of the books in LAC can be read online (through Google Books & Project Gutenberg.)
