Getting books and articles the library does not own - Using Interlibrary Loan:

If the Library does not own a specific journal article or book that you need for your research, we can get it for you.


If the Library does not own a specific journal title or full-text electronic access, you may request that we retrieve a specific article for you. Please send an email to or call 610-683-4745 with complete bibliographic data including author, title, journal, volume and issue number, etc. or fill out the Online Article Request Form.


Instructions for book interlibrary loan:

  • Search for books using WorldCat.
  • Create an ILLiad account and submit your request online.  Click here to create an account.
  • Takes approximately 7-10 days to receive the book and books circulate for 30 days.
