Cinema, TV, & Media Production Department - Research and Teaching Support: Interlibrary Loan

Interlibrary Loan Services

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) gets you articles, books, and films that our library does not own.

To use the system you must activate your ILLiad Account. Just log in with your full KU email and password, fill out the simple form, and you're done!

Articles

If a database cites an article you want, but lacks full-text, just click on the request via interlibrary loan link in the database. This will take your request directly to ILLiad. You can also request an article by manually completing the Online Article Request Form in ILLiad.

Books and Films

Want a book or video we don't own? Find it in KU's WorldCat. Click the title, then hit "Request this item through Interlibrary Loan" [screenshot].  This will take you to ILLiad. Log in and submit your request. Note that ebooks and streaming videos are ineligible for interlibrary resource sharing.

Need Help?

You can contact the Interlibrary Loan Office 7am - 3:30pm M - F at 610-683-4168 or via email at colburn@kutztown.edu. The ILL team is happy to help you.

Even ILL can't work?

In rare instances where Interlibrary Loan can't get the item for you, talk to Len Barish or Cara Cotellese about the possibility of purchasing it for our collection. (Unlike ILL, which is ordinarily free, this might entail a deduction from your department's annual allocation for library materials.)
