Fake news is a complex and growing problem for anyone doing research. This guide accompanies Dr. Johnson's COM 10 class

The consequences of Fake News are epitomized by the real news of the collected stories popularly know as "Pizzagate." It became national headlines when the fake news story inspired a man, in Dcember 2016,  to attack a pizza restaurant with an assault rifle, based on a complete lie.
