Finding Articles in Magazines and Journals

Library Databases

Getting StartedPopular Databases Icon

Start at the Library Home page.
Select the Popular Databases icon

Articles

  1. Academic Search Ultimate from EBSCO. Almost all the entries in this database have the article attached, which means it is a "full-text" database.
  2. Proquest like Academic Search Complete, Proquest is a database that has magazines, newspapers, and journals on all subjects. The information goes from everyday knowledge to highly complex research journals.

Newspapers

  1. Newsbank (Newspaper Database) - Major newspapers from around the world.  Full-text - the articles are all in the database.

Film & Video

These are the three subscriptions the library has for college-level documentary videos you can use in your projects

Research Tools

The Research Tools box contains other databases, services, and resources at the Rohrbach Library, including
Search Everything and the Library Catalog.

Finding Interviews & Podcasts

The best place to look for interviews or podcasts is probably YouTube.

The library's streaming services, such as Films on Demand, also contain interviews and can be a good source, depending on your topic.

CAUTION: Evaluate your source.  Make sure the source on the internet is credible, and not fake. Any self-published site, like many of those on YouTube are suspect.
