Paywalls

Never, Never, NEVER pay for an article you need while you are a KU student.
The Library has money to get that article for you.  All you need to do is use Interlibrary Loan (ILL).

Step-by-step instructions are in the next box:

INTERLIBRARY LOAN

For Interlibrary Loan (ILL), go to the library's Interlibrary Loan page.

Use your KU Network ID and Password to login.

Interlibrary loan articles come to you through your KU email. It usually takes 1 to 2 days.

Getting a book from the library for online only students...

If you need a book from the Rohrbach Library, and you are not close to campus...

  1. Use the Interlibrary Loan form at:  https://library.kutztown.edu/interlibrary
  2. Select MY ILL ACCOUNT.
  3. Select "Book".
  4. Select "Create Request" button.
  5. Fill out the information for the book you need.
  6. VIP:  Under Contact Information, the address information is where you want the book sent.
  7. VVIP:  In the "Comments" section, leave a note explaining you are a KU distance ed graduate student, so the library staff know that you need the book mailed to the address you listed, and that you cannot come to the library to pick-up the books.
