Finding books using the library catalog

On the library's homepage, the Library Catalog Tab is the best place to start to search for books

You'll find many different types of resources in the library catalog:

  1. books and DVDs that are on the shelves in the library,
  2. links to electronic books, and
  3. links for streaming video and DVDs,

Some search tips:

  • Use keywords, not entire sentences.
  • Check your spelling!  The library catalog is a research database, it does not correct spelling like Google does.
  • Once you find a book, use the index (at the back) to find the information you really need.
  • With Ebooks, you can use the "Search" function to find the information you need.
