The consequences of Fake News are epitomized by the real news of the collected stories popularly know as "Pizzagate." It became national headlines when the fake news story inspired a man, in Dcember 2016,  to attack a pizza restaurant with an assault rifle, based on a complete lie.

•  It is an example of how you, as a literate media user can diagnose a news story.

Biased news sources are now common. The reporting is not made-up news, but it is reported in a way that serves a political ideology.
