Fees & Payments

To keep STEAMworks financially sustainable, some materials and services include a fee to recoup costs.

Accepted payment: Bear Bucks. If you don’t have a Bear Bucks account, you can purchase Rohrbucks (in $2 or $5 denominations) at the KU Campus Store. We cannot accept cash or credit..

Equipment & Material Fees

• Button Maker
  Buttons: $0.20 each · Magnets: $0.50 each

• Vinyl Cutter
  $2.00 per linear foot of vinyl used

• 3D Printers
  $0.09 per gram of filament + $0.25 per hour of print time

Services

• Laminating
  $0.50 per linear foot of film used

• Poster Printing: Rates vary, see below

Standard paper (per page):

• 8.5" × 11": $1.00
• 11" × 17": $2.00

Matte roll paper (per linear foot)

• 24" width: $3.00
• 36" width: $4.00

Instant-dry satin photo paper (per linear foot)

• 24" width: $4.00
• 36" width: $5.00

Add-on

• Ink coverage over 50%: + $1.00 / linear foot
