Rohrbach Library Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Initiative
The library visualizes diversity as a dedication to supporting equitable and inclusive academic opportunities, success, and lifelong learning. We are committed to developing a library culture that seeks to understand and redress systemic inequities. Our aim is to promote an environment that is welcoming and accessible to all through services, collections, and programming that represent, include, and celebrate the diversity of both the KU and the larger global community.
Civility & Library Culture
Our goal is to create a compassionate and collaborative community committed to the continuous reflection and learning that are needed to create and sustain a culture of information equity and accessibility.
Programming
Our goal is to offer programs, including but not limited to lectures, film screenings workshops, and other events for and in cooperation with the campus community.
Collections
Our goal is to work towards building and promoting more inclusive collections that represent a more expansive interpretation of the contributions of the entire global community.
