Accessibility and Library Services: Getting to the library

This is the  campus accessibility map for KU;  Pathways without obstacles are highlighted in yellos.

Kutztown University provides a shuttle service for KU students.  Residents of the Borough of Kutztown may purchase a shuttle bus pass that is good for one semester. All the vehicles meet ADA standards for accessibility.  The cost is $45.00. Passes can be purchased at the Kutztown Borough Office.

The nearest stop to the library is the stop at the Academic Forum parking lot.

The library provides accommodations to our patrons who need them.

The library has three floors, all accessible by two elevators, one on either side of the building.

1. There is limited handicapped parking in the rear of the building. 
2. You do need to drive on the walkways to get to the back of the building.
3. The back door is locked, and you will need to ring the doorbell and a staff person will open it for you.
