Remember that the library databases and the library catalog will provide citations for the materials you find there, in various styles.  Make sure to double-check all citations before submitting your assignment.

Citation Managers

These tools will help you keep and manage all of your sources.  You can use them to organize downloaded articles and produce bibliographies or reference lists.

Linking to Articles and Library Resources

STOP! Don't copy that URL yet!

When you want to share an article, ebook, or other library resource with another member of the KU family, look for PERMALINKS. For more information on how to do this, including screenshots, go to the library's OpenAthens: Linking to Library Resources page

Citation Generators

Like the citation tools in the library databases these can be a great help, but you always need to check the citations they generate for mistakes. While they are good place to start, they sometimes have mistakes. Double-check your citations before handing in your assignment, and ask for help!
