Streaming Video Collections

Symptom Media is an online mental health education and training film library of over 500 mental health simulations includes Assessment Tools, DSM 5, and ICD Guided films. These films provide visual guideposts to better understand mental health diagnoses and decrease the stigma for those facing psychological issues. Ranging from 30 seconds to 15 minutes, the films are readily integrated into training courses, individual and group therapy sessions, lectures, and other educational formats.

In order to create permalinks that can be shared via email or posted in D2L please follow the steps outlined below:

1. Go to the vendor’s site directly (do not use the library’s authenticated link as that adds extra parameters to the link that will cause it to fail): https://symptommedia.com/film-library/
2. Find the video title that you want to share, right click on the title link and copy it.
3. Enter the copied link into the our authentication vendor’s link generation tool for KU: https://go.openathens.net/generate/kutztown.edu/70664273
4. Copy the resultant link
