Springer Ebook EBA Program
ON HOLD DUE TO CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS AT PASSHE LEVEL
Activated three Springer ebook collections based on turnaways - Behavioral Science & Psychology, Social Science, and Law & Criminology. This provides access to apx 3,800 titles for a spend of apx 10,000. After one-year we will have need to choose 10K worth of titles to own. This program can be renewed. Ebooks will be live on SpringerLink and records will be in Alma and EDS.

We activiated the T&F Social Sciences Collection, it includes access to over 12,000 titles from 2017 to 2021 (does not include any frontlist titles) for a 15K spend. T&F defines social sciences very broadly (see title list here). This program will be completely managed in Rialto. This program can be renewed.

We have committed via PALCI to add the 2023, 24, and 25 frontlist titles to our existing OSO ebook collection.
Hispanic Life in America, Series 3, 2010-Today
Hispanic Life in America offers comprehensive coverage of the Hispanic American experience sourced from more than 45 million news items, including over 800 current and historical Spanish-language publications. This collection offers a separate interface set with a unique algorithm to pull up relevant results and “suggested searches” to guide students to pertinent topics from immigration, citizenship, social justice, politics, arts, literature, key people, etc.

We will be continuing the Elsevier EBA program for a third year, we will have all ebook content from 2017-2024. At the end of this academic year, we will have 15,750 in the "bank" to choose titles. This program is renewable.

NOTE: We do not have contracts in place for Newsbank and ValueLine as well due to PASSHE Procurement negotiations. Newsbank has allowed us to continue accessing the database, VL has turned off our access.
