Electronic Resources (Library Databases)

Access to the library's electronic resources is governed by the licensing agreements the library signs with the vendors who own the databases. Access is restricted to students, employees, and emeriti of Kutztown University. However, library patrons who are not KU students, employees nor emeriti can access the library’s electronic resources from computers located in the lobby. These patrons must obtain a KU login and password from the Information Desk.

Students who don't return an item by 30 days past its due date receive a billing notice indicating the replacement fee. A library hold is also placed in  their record on MyKU until the item is returned. If you have a library hold, you can not register, receive grades or transcripts. Call the library's Information Desk at 610-683-4480 to find out about clearing your record.

Courtesy Patrons with overdue items are charged ten cents per day per item up to a maximum of $10. Overdue fines are waived when you pay to replace an item, or provide a new copy of a lost item. Borrowing privileges are suspended when a Courtesy Patron owes $10 or more.
Rohrbach Library is unable to accept cash. To pay for overdue fines or printing, Courtesy Patrons must purchase a Paw Pass (a re-loadable debit card) in the KUCard office at the Academic Forum and present the Paw Pass at the Information Desk. Hours and contact information for the KUCard office are at http://www.kutztown.edu/KUCard
