Kutztown University Archives: Dante Smith

I chose my internship in the Archives for a few reasons, the major reason being I enjoy learning about the history and past doings of the University. This internship at the Archives doesn’t only allow me to do that but it also gives me the opportunity to write, which I really like doing. In the Archives I get to combine researching topics about KU and writing informational pieces on that research, which is super rewarding as well. When I heard about this internship from not only Professor Czerny in Professionalization Seminar last year, but it was recommended by my advisor too. I can say that they wouldn’t have advocated for it if they didn’t think it was a good opportunity, which I’m glad they told me about because I have had an enjoyable time writing for the Archives!
