Targeting grades K-8, BrainPOP’s short movies and related activities cover hundreds of topics. Educators rely on BrainPOP to enhance and reinforce lessons, and for resources like lesson plans, curriculum calendars, quizzes, and printable templates.” (description from vendor). KU's access includes the various versions found in the drop-down menu under Moby's picture at the top of the BrainPOP website (see image to the right).

The Children's Literature Comprehensive Database (CLCD) is a fantastic database of children's literature titles with over 320,000 reviews--all full-text searchable from over 37 review sources.
CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE -- we are trying to regain access. Discovery Education is the largest online, multimedia library of educational videos and images geared towards a K-12 audience. It is searchable by keyword, subject, topic, grade, and curriculum standard. It includes more than 4,000 full-length video programs, split into more than 40,000 content-specific video clips that can be streamed or downloaded directly for use in the classroom. NOTE: To use this database, you must set up your own username and password at their site and enter KU’s passcode: 8727-6ee3.
