Education

This guide highlights resources helpful for education majors or those using education-related information and collections.

Finding Materials

Go to the library's online catalog to search for Rohrbach Library's physical and digital resources.

To Limit Your Search:

Enter your search terms in the search box and go to the results page.

Use the options along the left side of your search results to limit your results by certain criteria. (See image to the right). Some of the best limits for education majors are:

  • Availability- to limit your search to materials in the physical or digital collection

  • Date - to limit your search to a particular year or range of years

  • Location - to limit your results to a particular collection in the library--such as the Library Science Collection (for children's literature) or the CMC (for creating/teaching lesson plans)

Interlibrary Loan:

If we do not have an item that you need, you can search other libraries to find it through Worldcat and/or request it through Interlibrary Loan.

Local Library:

When searching for children's literature or popular titles, you can also link to the Kutztown Community Library's online catalog to see if they have the item you need. You will need to limit your search to the Kutztown location since their search is through the Berks County Public Library System. The Kutztown Community Library is located on Bieber Alley behind CVS.
